I saw this cartoon in a German newspaper while in Munich recently. It amused me and I don't speak German, well I can order a couple of beers. I have typed the words thru' the Google translator but they don't mean much. Any one know the meaning? It starts with "It's alright William...." and what's next? Regards Beemer.

Something along the lines of: "It's alright William, we had him on our south sea (south pacific) travels" "Great joy at the Windsors. The heir is here" Going by my GCSE German .mic

I'd agree with mic on that. Gezeugt in this context can mean conceive so this would follow with the balloon dialogue. (As a slight aside, the Germans like their jokes about the British royal family, perhaps because they passed them on to us, or because, as many Germans have said to me, we are always mentioning the war!)
