Just a quick roundup of the significant changes to MAN for the Summer 2013 period. Exact schedules can be provided on request:
Easyjet:
Increase based aircraft from 5 to 7. Introduce Moscow, Thessaloniki, Prague, Keflavik, Venice, Mykanos, Santorini and Antalya.
Jet2:
Based aircraft remain at 11, however total is 13 with back up aircraft which are a Titan B757 that replaces Strategic A320 and a Jet2 B737-300.
New routes this summer are Menorca, Corfu and Zante.
Ryanair:
Increase based aircraft from 4 to 5. Introduce Paphos, Trapani, Krakow, Lanzarote and Corfu. Dropped are Hahn, Memmighem and Biarritz.
British Airways:
Ends 3/4 daily LGW flights on 30th March. Continues with new Aarhus and Gothenburg route at 11 weekly. Seasonal charters to Malaga and Ibiza.
Orbest Arzonia:
New Saturday weekly charter to Palma from May 4th using A320/A330. On behalf of Thomas Cook.
Aegean Airlines:
Saturday weekly charter to Kefalonia returns on A320 from April 27th. New 2 weekly, Monday and Friday A320 to Athens from May 25th.
Norwegian:
New 2 weekly, Monday and Friday B737-800 to Stavanger from April 1st.
TAP Portugal:
Increase Lisbon to 10 weekly, and introduce A321 on Sundays from June 1st
Delta:
Upgrades DL64/65 to Atlanta from B767-300 to A330-200 from 1st May
American Airlines:
Upgrades AA54/55 to Chicago from B757-200 to B767-300 from June 5th.
Egyptair:
Introduce new 5 weekly B737-800 to Cairo from June 1st. Flight operates Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun
Turkish Airlines:
Increase Istanbul from 10 weekly to 14 weekly on 31st March. Use B737-900 on all flights, but EQV changes are highly likely.
Virgin Atlantic:
Introduce 21 weekly A320 to Heathrow from 21st March.
Thomson Airways:
Introduce B787-800 to Sanford and Cancun routes from May 2nd
All in all, not a bad summer ahead.
