Hi grobtutor, where do you work at Woodvale? I'm in air traffic at the moment on work experience.
Today we had- G-BGCO PA44 from Warton, G-SBAE also Warton & a pair of harriers passed to the west over the coast & went off to the north. The red & white JP was landing just as i left (bit of a surprise as we'd been ringing round trying to find out where he was.

Sorry I don't really know anyone on base apart from the guys in the tower. I'll pop across & say hello, maybe take some photos if thats ok? I'm next in on Sat.
The JP pilot is on his way to Carlisle either today or tomorrow to pick it up, I think both are going to Rhyl on Sat.

JP XW324 departed north to Blackpool EC135 'Redhead 60' yellow, possibly air ambulance has been operating to & from Blackpool from Woodvale G-JUDE inbound to land.

Hi Woodvalewarrior. During the rally weekend someone pitched one of the big tents in the wrong place, right on top of the power supply line to the air traffic control tower & fire section. So since wednesday when I arrived they were on emergency power from the generator. Then on friday I got a call not to come in because they had to shut because the generator was running out of fuel & the power line will only be fixed on tuesday at the earliest. Now this means that my work experience might be cancelled sadly.
Hi AlexMac. I'm still pretty sure that they were harriers, they contacted us at Rhyl before coming straight across from there, they were pre-arranged earlier as a formation of 2 harriers. If I'd paid more attention I should have got the callsigns!! Carols away at the moment on holiday, but if I'm still in when shes back I'll make sure to pass on your message

"JP 'Fastjet 324' pass to the west southbound from Blackpool." Woodvalewarrior, Fastjet 324 is G-BWSG/XM324 Jet Provost.
