I have, passed down from my Mother, an original copy of "The Liverpool Courier" Volume 1 Number 1 January 6th 1808 price sixpence.
This 4 page broadsheet is full of interesting things such as the following advert
Superior Travelling A light post Coach Service from Liverpool to London in only 30 hours This is the only coach whose proprietors have kept their word to the public in being one night on the road..... To London Inside £2 12s 6d, ditto outside £1 6s. Small parcels 2s each etc......
I am offering this for sale to any member of this forum with a genuine interest in Liverpool before I put it on ebay.
Please do not use this bulleting board for offers to buy. Please send me a private message.
If you want to discuss the item in general terms, its OK to use this forum
This is a genuine item, although yellowed, in good condition.
