Biggles,
There is a large fire in the vicinity of Crowland street, Blowick area Southport, the road has been closed off, it's all over facebook, in this day and age of mobile phones with cameras, we have all become photo journalists.

10 pump fire at a roofing place biggles. bales of plastic were on fire hence the black smoke

Thanks for info. The smoke certainly traveled some considerable distance South of the fire.
