Just got myself an IPhone and wondered if anybody had any advice on which aviation apps to go for?

Hi Ian. Flightradar24's App is a very good App, Cockpit View has just been added but you need to be on iOS6 and have a 4'' screen or larger for it to work. (Don't download the Premium Version as its only free with Premium Subsrcription.) Here is the link: itunes.apple.com/app/flightradar24-pro/id382069612I have been told the Planefinder App from Pinkfoot is ok aswell, just found the link. (Planefinder say they have Google Maps, i know Flightradar24 uses Apple Maps which some people say are not as good.) itunes.apple.com/gb/app/plane-finder-live-flight-status/id336477530?mt=8As for Radarbox24 they have poor coverage and i think their Apps are in Beta Test.

Just downloaded the latest Weather App for my Galaxy using Android. aptly named Met Office Weather It knock others into a cocked hat, but you need to activate GPS to get your precise location for current weather details.
