A long overdue visit turned out to be quite nice until 12 then the rain started. Here's some photo's from the field. I spoke to the pilot of the Auster G-APRO, and this aircraft had been sent from the USA and was used in the Korean War,the Reg on the tail was used by the USAF,also the bronze spinner on the prop is the original from when the aircraft was delivered. Nice ones Peter. I first saw the Auster at Middle Wallop 31 years ago and much later at North Weald. Regards Beemer.
