I was listening to Radio Merseyside today (I know, I know, I must be getting old ;D) when a representative of Leisure Travel came on praising the airport, its staff, & FoLA. He also thanked them for their help with getting everybody on and off the flights. Not often you get praise like that. Well done to everyone involved. Steve

Too often we forget to recognise quality service and it is good to hear that the airport in general has received the recognition it deserves. In a similar vein a friend of mine was booked in for a return flight from Carcossonne to Liverpool last week and, with 2 hours to go she went for a coffee only to trip, fall, and sprain her ankle amongst other injuries. The good people at Carcossonne arranged a wheelchair and the staff on the Ryanair flight were exceptional in the way they treated her. She was met at Liverpool with a wheelchair and given gold star treatment all the way to her car. She was so impressed that she has written to Ryanair to congratulate them and to say that the treatment was in complete contrast to the negative image the airline normally receives. On the airport front Liverpool has now won a loyal flyer who would normally travel via Manchester. Well done to all concerned.
