Light Night Liverpool 17th May 2013

Hi Folks,

Just got round to sorting out some photos that may be of interest from this event last Friday night. There were lots of events taking place all over the city during the evening. We went up to the Cathedral to see the labyrinth inside and then the light show on the Oratory outside - managed to catch a colourful sunset when I came out too.

We then moved down to see the light show outside the Liverpool Central Library - just re-opened that evening after refurbishment. It looks absolutely superb inside, as do the views that can now be had from on the roof terrace.

Anyway, hope you like the selection.

Hi Dave,
I assume the semi circular glass frontage is the railway station and the modern building is the Library. Correct?

Hi Ron,

Yes, I took a photo of Lime St station, then St George's Hall on the way down to the library. Then there are a couple of photos of projections on the outside of the library and then he rest were taken inside the library and from the new roof terrace on the top floor.
