Jack Going myself after having been to the last 3.Last year was a bit of a let-down as the weather was lousy.only one visitor, but the previous 2 years were great . As regards the open day viewing in the hangers, there are usually trips arrange to go onto the apron and into the hangers, photo's are allowed and up the the present moment there are no retrictions,if you are not allowed into certain area's you will be told by the person in charge, size of parties are about ten+. Last year the trips were done from the Visitor's Centre and you will see on a notice telling you when and what time the trip's start.Up to yet these trip's are free. Hope you have a nice time. blueaircraft79.

Hi Guys
blueaircraft79 is spot on about the tours, I believe the plan is the same as previous years. Please book on one of these & don't just help yourself around the airfield (the big problem occurs when those without aircraft awareness start helping themselves as well, so lead by example etc)
Invites have been sent out to a large number of flying clubs / airfields across the UK so hopefully the weather works out & we have a great turn out!
Hopefully that helps? :-)
