Not heard anything here, there would normally be some sort of internal announcment. Saturday is a quiet day work wise so won't be that many(staff) here.

The A350 is on a test flight and is over the med approaching Corsica, so it looks very unlikely to be going to Hawarden today. (10:11)
Its now heading South.

I'm left wondering, as suggested by John J, that indeed the information is that the A.350 is to visit Hawarden on 6th July 2014 en route to Farnborough? Only the info leaked out just over a year in advance!
Having typed the first sentence, looked it up and 6th July 2014 is a Sunday - which rather blows that suggestion out of the water! Apart from that, the timing makes sense to me, a year into the test programme, with publicity working up towards initial deliveries a great time for demonstration to the workforce before the unveiling at the International SBAC Display at Farnborough - likely its European debut appearance in public. I'll bet the flight test and demonstration programme is worked out for well over twelve months ahead, so having the flag-waving event pencilled-in already is quite feasible, indeed almost to be expected.
Don't overlook the flying appearance at New Brighton, on a Sunday, of the A.380 a few years back en route to SBAC Farnborough - so it has been done before.

Will check with the person who started the rumour and with hindsight would have thought this would have made the local news programmes etc for its publicity benefit.... A usually very reliable source and I know he will be just as interested in sorting it out... just hope no one had a wasted journey and checked the likes of FR24 etc.beforehand.... Dave
