Just read the following NOTAM:
FLYPAST BY MIL ROTARY ACFT WI 2NM RADIUS 533452N 0030327W (WOODVALE, SEFTON) 13-07-0255/AS1 LOWER: Surface, UPPER: 2,100 Feet AMSL FROM: 13 Jul 2013 10:15 GMT (11:15 BST) TO: 13 Jul 2013 10:45 GMT (11:45 BST)
Does anyone have any more info about this? I think i'll cycle down to try and get some pictures.
Thanks in advance,
Anthony.

Well the flypast didn't come to be. Spent 11 till 12.30 and the only helicopter visible on the ground was ZJ242/E Bell 412 Griffin HT.1 which was knocking around yesterday. Not entirely sure what the event was about but there were a number of RAF people in full military dress. I wonder if it had something to do with the new reserve squadron? Sadly not much else to report from Woodvale. A few of the gliders came and went and I'm glad to see a few of the Grob Tutors were doing extensive ground runs. I hope this means they're lifting the grounding of the type, its a brilliant aircraft, I learned to fly in them in my Cadet days from Woodvale. Others noted on the apron, with all 3 good for me were G-BVUN Vans RV-4 G-BSSP Robin DR-400-180R G-AXNZ Pitts S1-C special (took me ages to find this on google. Is it rare?)
