A little under a week ago it was posted that LFC's Garuda A.330-300 would return on the morning of 29th, with GA901 arriving around 0730 and departing empty as GA900 departing around 0940. Does this still hold true? My latest visit to the BBC weather forecast site indicates that the wind will be a good breeze from the south-west (although a few hours ago the forecast was for a breeze from the east) - so it looks as though photographers will have a 27 morning. www.bbc.co.uk/weather/6296588?day=2Also a not dissimilar question - when will the Lourdes flights that went out on Friday return? Will it be the same combination of 2 x Europe Airpost Boeing 737-300s and a CityJet BAe.146, or will there be some changes?

As regards the Lourdes flights there have been changes in previous years.

According to Flightradar24 GIA990 PK-GPA has an ETA at Liverpool of 03.02am. Anybody know anything different or if correct, how long on ground before leaving?

gmhoneyman, I can see it is your first post and welcome to the Forum.Could you delete your query and put it in the thread that is already open for Monday 29th. Thanks. It keeps things neat and tidy. Regards Beemer. (Moderator)
Thanks Beemer, for pointing this out. I've moved both posts to the existing Monday LJLA thread, so need for further action.
gmhoneyman, thanks for your input as your reported ETA is well before that earlier notified. I wonder if the FR24 ETA takes the fuel stop and crew change at Dubai into account? It is the recommended practice on nwan forum to keep each airport's movement reports together on a single daily thread, so that 'one view/visit sees all'.

Flightradar24 ETA's are calculated on the speed of the Aircraft plus distance remaining on a set route without any stops, in this case it does not work out correctly as the Aircraft is currently on the ground at Bangkok @ 16:38 and if there is another stop at Dubai it will arrive much later than the quoted ETA by Flightradar24, you will only get a true ETA when it departs Dubai later on. www.flightradar24.com/GIA990

The Airport's website have the Garuda arriving from Bankok/Don Muang at 0740 - so it looks like different sources reasonably agree that I have to get up earlier than usual!

PK-GPA just (around 07:25) flew directly over Anfield football stadium - don't know if it was a coincidence or intentional, but I nipped out of the house just as it came over and caught a couple of mediocre pics. Cheers, Dave
