Been out to RAF Valley in the hope of seeing the French Alpha Jets and some of the Hawk T.2s - and saw neither. However both the newly delivered AW.139s were active.
Observations 0925-1440 when low cloud and rain rolled in.
The Flight line of 208 Sqdn has returned to the aprons behind the hangars, however VAS (Visiting Aircraft apron) remain out on the airfield towards the SAR stands. SARTU's Griffins and the new AW.139s are now operating from the former AGEOWU hangar and apron down by the beach. 19 Sqdn remain on the easily seen apron by the gate and bridge.
