[sorry if posting in wrong area of the new forum!]
I happened upon a quote on Wikipedia that says that the original BAe ATP prototype, which subsequently became the Jetstream 61 'prototype' G-PLXI (or, at least, what is left of it) appears to have been promised to the Jetstream Club and is awaiting move to Speke.
Anyone happen to know if this is true?

I think I read somewhere that it was, but the cost of moving it to Liverpool made in unviable.

The answer to the question regarding the BAe.ATP/Jetstream 61 was not on their web-site anyway. As I understand it, G-PLXI was in a very stripped down state, in a far from display ready condition. The biggest problem was that of the cost of dismantling and transport by road from Woodford to Liverpool.
I'm delighted that the Jetstream Club are re-vamping their website as a number of pages had become out of date. I look forward to the 'new look' site appearing shortly.

Firstly, the ATP. Due to the fact that the RAF were fighting a war or some other excuse, MOD had said no more freebies. If we wanted them to move it we would be charged at the going commercial rate which was mucho dosh. The ATP had been quite badly beaten up so we decided against it.
The Fair date has been pencilled in for 19th July which is the same weekend as RIAT. THIS IS STILL PROVISIONAL. As mtlnorth suggested, further details will appear on the new JS site as things get finalised.
