The ones that get me are "ramp up" .What's wrong with increase or accelerate? One I came across today reading the dreaded awful English Air International was " India downselected the Rafale....".What on Earth is wrong with " chose"? And if you think Ai is poor just try deciphering the articles in Flight.I hate " airframer". Manufacturer, company, firm?
Utter drivel geekspeak.

Airframer drives me mad, because now everyone seems to call an aircraft a 'frame. Well, if it was a 'frame' it wouldn't fly, because the legal and technical definition of an airframe is a complete aircraft minus its engines! It started in the States (of course!) and technically it is correct, since Boeing/Airbus/Bombardier etc., build the airframe and someone else builds and supplies the powerplant. I think it's probably 'Flight' (in particular) trying to compete for its' share of the US market through the internet. That publication is a shadow of its former self in my opinion, especially since it became 'Flight Global'. A former colleague worked for them until fairly recently and he said the whole organisation had changed beyond recognition. I suspect that it may be happening elsewhere, too. OK, rant over!
