For those of you who are not aware, Photobucket is free for storage of images, but once they are linked to internet or social networking sites, then a theoretical small charge is levied per view. Once this charge reaches a certain level (actually measured in megabites of use) then they blank out all your images and request you join - the fee involved is fairly small per month. The amount of use count should return to zero on (in my case the 18th of each month), the last two months it has done so as I neared the limit. This month it did not do so, the blanket black-out of my images commenced on the 22nd, so catching me out.
I am operating from an i-pad at the moment, and refuse to use it for any banking/payment transactions as (rightly or wrongly) I don't trust the security of public hot-spot wi-fi used on occasions when away from home, so don't use it for financial matters even when at home. By mid September I'll be back on my PC and so in a position to start paying-up and all the images should display again.
Apologies for anyone trying to access images on past posts of mine in the mean-time.

Viscount,I pay an annual fee to Photobucket. Can't remember what it is off the top of my head, but when your photo count reaches a "lot of photos" you have to pay. It was free for many years then they asked for money. Here are the prices for a Plus Account, in dollars sadly. 2 GB - Free 20 GB - $2.99 / Month, $29.99 / Year 50 GB - $4.99 / Month, $49.99 / Year 100 GB - $8.99 / Month, $89.99 / Year 200 GB - $16.99 / Month, $169.99 / Year 500 GB - $39.99 / Month, $399.99 / Year Hope this helps. Brian, I have encountered the same problem with Photobucket myself over the last two months as they notified me that my data transfer or 'bandwidth' had almost reached the monthly free allowance of 10.GB. Fortunately on both occasions it reset before my pix were blanked. My solution was to open another Photobucket account and upload my photos between the two, in effect I'm now getting 20.GB for free! Another tip for reducing your data transfer amount is to minimize your file size. In Photoshop I always save as a JPEG with an image size of 890 X 593 pixels for uploading to Photobucket. When saving JPEG's you will also get the option to adjust your image quality, I set the slider to 10 (Maximum) which gives me a reduced file size to around 200 -250kb without any perceivable loss any quality. I have also added another Flickr account just for uploading photos for web forum viewing, an added bonus here is that there are no bandwidth restrictions either so happy days! Hope this info helps. Cheers, Dave.
