A new air ambulance is due to go on line today (18 October).
Callsign Helimed 75, it is an EC135 registration G-DAAT and will be based initially at Barton.

It is expected that it will move from Barton to a new base at the existing helipad at Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral once the required base infrastructure has been completed.

The private hospital stated to be the new helicopter base is actually now run by SPIRE and is known as Spire Murrayfeild. located at Holmwood Drive Wirral CH61 1AU

The private hospital stated to be the new helicopter base is actually now run by SPIRE and is known as Spire Murrayfeild. located at Holmwood Drive Wirral CH61 1AU It has been announced on the bbc lunchtime local news the the new helicopter is to be based at Aintree hospital, also says the heli is only temporary and will be made permanent if demand for the aircraft is high, then it will be repainted to match the other two.
