Seen the sign board on the Weston expressway stating lane closure's on the bridge up to 1st December. Happy Days Bob Hi Bob, should that not be Unhappy Days with a bearing in mind the delays

Not quite on thread, but not too far away.
I've driven over the Bridge twice in the past 10 days or so. Puzzled by the matrix sign between Widnes and the A5300/M57 turn with an announcement along the lines of:
"Warning, notice of work to start soon modifying bus lanes"
However I can think of no bus lanes for miles, certainly not on the A562 'Ford Road', the A5300 or the A561 after the split. Closest possibly being the lanes on Speke Hall Avenue off the A561 by Dobbies ending up at the Airport.
Anyone know more than me? Poor question, of course you do. Try, anyone know more than me about the bus lanes on the A562.?

There is a Bus Lane on the Runcorn side, it starts just after the BP garage and ends about a quarter of a mile after Runcorn Train Station on the approach to the Bridge.
