Pardon I hear you say or did I, I realised this morning that after many years of employment involving the use of various calibres of things that go bang and in some cases very loudly I need to check my hearing. I was happily listening on on the airband around 8am ish, and heard the c/s Golf Tango Seirra Oscar Bravo calling for a climb to 34`0 wondering what the aircraft that carried such a reg was and smiled as The SOB conjured up other thoughts, a quick check on G-INFO woke me with a start, How could a Rans S6E manage that climb or was I listening into a world record attempt in the making The ATC moved the pilot to another frequency which i hurredly followed him to expecting a congrats to the pilot ;D for reaching Fl.Lv 24`0 in such a short time but continuing to over 30`0 The pilot called Golf Sierra Tango Oscar Bravo Did I hear that correctly wondered As that Meerkat states on the Ad, eets not the same, Not a Rans S6e after all but a rather faster model Hawker 400 So its a hearing test or a pilot who knows us oldies listen in.
