we have the least number of visitors and the same aircraft on the commercial flights, not really an interesting place my friend. It might pick up in spring with visiting Tucanos, the military helo traffic seems to have dropped off a little more every year.

I disagree, it has some interesting visitors there and every time i go there i bag a few. I know it's nowhere as busy as Liverpool or Manchester but at least you can get to look around the hangers if you ask nicely and the staff are very friendly. Viewing from Morrison's car park is excellent.

Chris, we are very grateful for your Blackpool photo reports, they are much appreciated from an under-reported airfield in our region.
Cheers,

I am pleased to see the comment raised some response. I was surprised it was made originally as I have seen some far more interesting aircraft especially diverts going into BPL rather than MCR or LPL over the past years. (Maybe the lights attract them).
