Dungeon Lane

On the 25th Feb I posted a Thread ( Is this the Start) regarding the Mound and Lane . Well on arrival this morning I was greeted by the sight of a number of vehicles and also a very large skip just on the corner of the road just passed the mound also a fairly large workforce. On asking the foreman what was going on I was informed that today they had to set to and dispose of all rubbish the full length of Dungeon Lane both sides, plus the large area on the corner in other words a complete clean up. On further questions to the foreman he had no idea what was going to happen as regards the mound.
 
  
When they put the bags into the skip I counted 32 and that was before they started on the roadside.

This is to let all people know ,  who travel down Dungeon Lane that the dangerous potholes which are now about 6 or possibly more inches deep have been reported to Halton Borough Highways Dept ,  I was told this would be seen to ASAP , lets see how long before they are filled in , they could in there present condition cause serious damage to any vehicle.

Dungeon Lane is the responsibility of Liverpool C.C. not Halton as far as I am aware.
