It is 64 years today, that Dan Dare made his first appearance in The Eagle.

Surely he is older that that. I recall him being about 30 years of age (that was my guess) when he first appeared in The Eagle with Digby and Miss Peabody and took on the Mekon and the Treens. James Bond eat your heart out.

I must be too young for this one. The only Dan Dare I knew of was a nick name given to a famous (or should that be infamous) airline that operated a very large fleet of Comets.
