Is it just me or are we being taken over by stealth.

Under the guise of being nice to animals Subway Chain has announced Bacon and Ham is being removed from menus and being replaced with Turkey Ham and Turkey Rashers this is to balance the animal welfare concerns and also and "views of religious communities" in 1500 of its out-lets ?

If MacD follows suit we are all doomed.

The Americans really are the masters of spin and political correctness aren't they?

I have worked with a lot of Asians and my experience is that they're not particularly fond of sandwiches, whatever their filling. Most I've worked with bring their own food to work and put it in a microwave. Turkey? Well it's hardly an Asian dish, is it? I've certainly never seen it on any menu in any Muslim country I've been to.

If I take a benign point of view I would I was angry because this is a change which offers no choice for me. (Expect take it or leave it... I choose to do the latter.)

If I take a more pro active point of view, I would say do something positive. In my case, at the next election I will be voting for a party that will act on this problem, and at a more local level I have become active in the street parties to eat pork and drink wine.

I will say, I have Muslim friends who are all really nice people. (I have met others who are not.) Even so, as a group, this creed tends to look backward and when mixed up with politics is a force for evil. One of my Muslim friends has stopped going to the mosque because of the hate messages given out.

Eat Pork, Drink wine, and do something pro active!

I noticed an article recently stating that Prisons have seen a massive increase in converts to Islam, due to extremist prisoners forcing by fear other prisoners to swop religious ideas.
Having had a friend imprisoned in a prison with a high percentage of Islamic members he tells me yes fear of injury does play a big part in becoming a Muslim, but the main reason for the more able and brighter prisoners is the fact that Muslims get better treatment, they can demand better food on the grounds of religion and they get whatever is wanted. they have far more privileges that non Muslim prisoners get, so it makes sense to get a better time inside become Muslim.
You don`t see many swopping to C of E or Catholicism or becoming Jews or any other religious belief so you think it may give a clue to Prison bosses ? it probably does but like everyone they are scared stiff of saying anything which
could be seen to inflame a minority.

I have never been the slightest racist in my life I abhor the idea, but what I hate more is that I am feeling the effects of reverse racism which is worse and nobody seems to know how to stamp out. One national institution seems hell bent on making it continue, and I mean the BBC who seem fixated with supporting anyone anti British or even extreme ? very odd.

All true but who is going to do something about it--the mysterious THEY ---being the powers that be --and on whom people seem to depend-seem merely bent on satisfying the moslem gangmasters and their blocks of postal votes---how easily we have given up democracy and the ballot box after centuries of struggle.
