We had a great turnout for our gastronomic weekend. Over 40 for the Friday couscous, and similar for the restaurant dinner on Saturday. Sunday was brilliant with over 90 for the Mechoui with visitors from Belgium and Denmark. None from Liverpool as far as I know. (Except my sister and brother in law who came by car.)
Still time to sample the fish and Chips.

Ron as a return invite why not come to Hale Carnival this weekend. We can virtually guarantee you continuous rain, interspersed with Hail and Thunder. Fresh local produce available nearby from Harry's chippy, or the Men Lee. Or our two pubs with traditional local dishes, eg chicken tikka plus other local delicacies. Fully equipped airfield nearby - ILS necessary to get through the clag. Hotels available nearby or why not camp on a cold waterlogged field, with no facilities and nowhere near your aircraft. As you say "you must be tempted by all that"
