Gents,
After speaking with an oppo this morning, it seems the crews have opted for the Walney Island near Barrow for the ex. Altcar was first choice and was canned.

Does anyone know why Altcar was canned & if they're planning to visit Altcar/Woodvale during the remainder of the exercise or whilst enroute home maybe ?

Site security and the fact they've not deployed to Walney in the last few years - change of surroundings and closer to the platforms. Will depart South on Friday mid day so may transit through Woodvale but unlikely they'll stop.

Seaking ZA166 as 'Navy 816' visited Blackpool on tuesday & is believed to be part of the exercise, also saw 2 chinooks holding west of Woodvale today & a seaking transiting down the coast southbound. I dodn't pick up comms on either.
