Champions League Draw - just taken place. Will see Liverpool play Real Madrid, Basel and Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad in Group B.
Credit BBC web-site: "Ludogorets Razgrad only formed in 2001 and play in a stadium which holds 8,000 supporters.
Last night they overcame Steaua Bucharest when defender Cosmin Moti played in goal for a penalty shootout, saving twice and scoring from the spot".
Potential for additional scheduled traffic and special charters via LJLA.

Ludogorets play their home games in Europe in Sofia rather than at their own stadium.
It will be interesting to see who Everton draw tomorrow too.

Easyjets new winter schedules dont allow supporters to fly to Madrid on the Tuesday or Wednesday for the away game and its the same if you want to see the Basle game by flying into Geneva which is in the summer schedules!

I notice that Ryanair is already charging £392 return for their MAN - MAD flights (dep 3/11 return 5/11). Easyjet is charging £333 to fly out on the Monday and back on the Thursday (who can spare that much time?).
I do wonder if, once Everton's draw is made later and the match schedules are clear, whether both EZY and RYR may adjust schedules to take advantage of the demand for travel from football fans of both clubs? Ryanair in particular has often added one off flights from other airports for football, rugby and racing events in Europe.

Scheduling of the UCL and Europa League fixtures is interesting! Apart from match days 3 and 4 (22/23 October and 4/6 November) the two Merseyside clubs have parallel home and away fixtures so, for instance, the week of the final games will see Liverpool at home to Basel on the Tuesday and Everton at home to FC Krasnodor on the Thursday. In any event there are a few destinations not served directly from either LPL or MAN so we will hopefully see a reasonable selection of charters with teams and supporters.

And as if by magic, Ryanair is putting on a one off charter from LPL to MAD for Liverpool's away tie to Real Madrid, departing Tuesday 4th and returning the following day.
