Can some one tell me which airlines now fly from LPJL to Germany and which airports in Germany they land. Wife used to fly EZY to Cologne until they scrapped the route. Travel to MCR is a pain. Any help appreciated.

There is also KLM connecting via Amsterdam. Maybe not the best for destinations on the west side of Germany but could be useful for Southern Germany etc

Thanks Guys she needs Hanover really, Seems from net search, Tui have stopped that route also locally, would need to get to Newcastle to do trip to Hanover ? Air Berlin go to Paderborn no suitbable dates ? Lufthansa would need to win lottery, or waste about 6 hours on a few stops at various airports to get to Hanover. Still trying to fathom KLM bookings as it may be Hanover is possible from LPL direct but may need an ology to work it out. thanks again. All this hassle to get rid of the wife for a week

Visit: www.klm.com/travel/gb_en/index_default.htmlEnter Liverpool to Hannover. Cost approx £216 for return trip incl taxes etc. Results give approx 1.5 hrs minimum in AMS (might be expensive time with all shops etc), but it avoids time to other airports and onward connections etc. Worth considering?

Liverpool to Bremen starts Friday and take the train the rest of the way (60 miles).
For future reference the train departs the airport 43mins after the Ryanair flight arrives and takes 1hr31mins to Hanover with one change enroute.

Thanks again Guys, we really need direct to Hanover without stop overs or changes as the wife is disabled somewhat with arthritis and can`t walk or sit around for any length of time. Some of the KLM filights are over 4 hours via Brussels, Lufthansa are via Munich or Frankfurt changovers or even Heathrow. Makes you wonder why the Hanover route has almost become an impossible direct route considering all the North people who have family serving in the Military who needed Cologne or Hanover as a place to get to easily. Right now AIR BELRIN to Paderborn looks favourite, just need to find out how far from the destination that will be. Lottery win and then Net Jets would, have been preferable though. ;D
