Evening all
Seen this gen on other sites. The usual spotting site by the crash gate in Diseworth Rd is being screened off by 6 foot screens along the fence. Might well be another airfield that we cannot spot at.

One spot i never knew of at EMA i must admit, but there is always the crash gate off Ashby Road. Plenty of space to pull a-side so you dont block the Crash Gate.
In my opinion not the best place too see much anyway at EMA.
Good Tip off by the way Graham.

The air museum has limited views aswell. The only thing that would help spotters at this place is the top deck of an open top double decker bus.

Just park where the hokey wagon is on the link road layby between the airport roundabout and the A50 which is also on the approach. You should see most things landing. However like everything it depends on which way they are taking off and landing.

Had a look at the current situation when I was in the area on Saturday. The screening on the fence only extends for a few yards along the path and then you can see everything OK.
