I have just got back from 3 days in berlin (non spotting trip) The reason for our trip was the light festival which is held every year in October. Here are just a few pics taken with my camera and iphone due to my camera batteries running out .

Excellent photos, Ste. I have been there a few times and I love it. Regards Beemer. Did they illuminate the tethered gas balloon near to Checkpoint Charlie? It would have been at the far end of the wall on your photo.

Thanks for the comment. Sadly the balloon wasnt illuminated at night. And on the 2nd night we couldnt see it due to fog and rain too.
