Perpignan airport is like all minor French airports--out of season there are few if any regular services--we were nearby for a fortnight and saw 2 ATR 42s drop in and 2 MD-82s so I was not surprised when my visit was a bit of a flop as far as airliners-my main interest--was concerned. here are the club aircraft taken after a dangerous walk in sandals through a snake infested scrubland.LOL

DSCF6668 by jeanchene, on Flickr I only just got to these in time--the firebrigade were about to produce a training video and as I finished my shot--and they waited thank you gentlemen--they covered both aircraft in a layer of foam and started to simulate a rescue--don't know if they were going to set fire to them next or not.

DSCF6666 by jeanchene, on Flickr Now this one was worth a photo--don't remember the last time I saw 2 Boeing 727s on the ground at one time and what is with the apparent Manx registration?

M-FAHD has been on the Manx register at least 3 years now (personally seen at BHX in 2012), it is a BBJ. Glad to see it is still airworthy, last reports of it I knew off was engineless at Lasham.
