Nice pics, Chris. The complex of buildings near Knockin is probably the depot at Nesscliffe. It was built in WW2 for ammo/equipment storage and covered an enormous area. There is still an army presence, I believe, but most of the site seems to be abandoned or at least under care and maintenance.

Although I dont collect light aircraft, I really enjoyed these shots and the air to grounds too.........I can't wait for your next trip either!!!

Hi Chris The Foxbat is G-EOID if that helps.. saw it last week when I was at Welshpool. Fab report by the way. Also if anyone is interested G-CHAH the Europa in Chris' pics is owned by Mark Higgins' dad. And for anyone who doesn't know hes a rather famous Rally Driver Callum
