Hi, A photographer friend was out walking late afternoon yesterday 30-12-14 on Holcombe Hill, near Ramsbottom ,Lancs. She spotted this helicopter and sent me a photo (Thanks Pat !) ,even though aircraft are not her subject of interest. This one took me a bit of detective work to identify. I used the flag on the rear rotor housing and its a Serbian variant flag. Reg is YU-HET. Privately Owned Gazelle. Anyone seen this one around before ?

Hi Brian
I think you mean HA-LFQ,
there a few HA and YU Gazelles in the UK. I think they were built under licence
Ian
EDIT, a quick look on the LAAS website shows 8 Hungarian Gazelles and 7 Serbian

Thanks Guys for the info. At this point I should again thank the fellow photography enthusiast Pat Kilner from Bury who sent the Gazelle photo. As said, Aircraft are not "her thing" but "If Carlsberg did photos of Steam Locomotives", they would probably look something like Pats ! Cheers again Pat, Thanks from NWAN. Fantastic work by any estimation in her Flickr Photostream here Guys .Take a look. www.flickr.com/photos/61228982@N04/www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=71195
