This is good news as Liverpool will now be back on the radar with a mainstream carrier part of an alliance , Czech is part of Skyteam ( KLM/Air France). Its only twice a week, so not what we had with 3 per day with KLM (hopefully that may happen again with them or something similar !) however its still very welcome, there are onwards connection with Czech via Prague potentially if the Liverpool times fit, Seoul is a direct destination from Prague for example.
This is hot on the heals of Blue Air and Wizz new services..maybe Liverpool will become the Northwest Airport of choice for Eastern European destinations ?!

Out of curiosity I looked on the booking site and put in a couple of dates, the first was 23.8.15 returning on 30.8.15 £183.72. If flying on a Monday it was £20 cheaper, but it did say from those prices.

About an hour ago,, looked at the czech airlines website and found the Lpl flights. 10 minutes ago refreshed and found no mention of Liverpool in the drop down menu but LGW has appeared. Retried with same result.

Just looked Ron and flights are still there. Promo fare now disappeared for Monday 18th (sold out?) but still there for Friday 22nd May. Basic fare is circa £100 one way.

Strange one this, maybe the airline can't make its mind up which airport suits it's needs. Hope LGW doesn't make a deal under the table.

Ok' this is an odd one, perhaps indicating the lack of preparedness. I find that Liverpool is not on the drop down menu to select airport of deparure or arrivsl when looking st the UK site, although there is a pop up add for Liverpool. On the Czech site, liverpool is indeed fully selectable from the drop downs.
On another topic, years sgo, I used to travel frequently from Heathrow to Prague, initially in Tu134 and Tu 154 and later on Airbus A300. ( I think),
Whatever happened to those Heathrow services, and slots?

Yes, I see the pop up ad for Liverpool. Once I have changed language from Czech (not my strong point) to English I can also see both Liverpool and Gatwick on the list of available airports. It's the first time I have seen Liverpool listed with all the other destinations, suggesting that the website has been upgraded to show it fully.

Totally off the thread topic, but congratulations to Ron reaching the landmark 1,000 posts with his comment above. Brian.
