Had a short visit to Spike to check on the progress on the Bridge Works . As you will see from the photo's a lot more piling and drilling is taking place also they are now installing the plant for the Concrete Mixing for the Bridge . The machinery has increased a lot since I last visited . Noted over on the Runcorn Side the Coffer Dam seems to be finished with bracing around the outside. Noticed the name on the rescue dinghy " GATEWAY ANGEL"

Further information given was that the unit that is going to assemble the bridge is on the docks at Liverpool.
