Just saw what seemed to be an old 4-engine prop - a DC6 or DC7? - tracking south over LIverpool at 11.15 local time on Wednesday 28 October. Have no access to SBS or radio or any other fun equipment, so if anyone can help get a positive id onn this , I'd be grateful
Thanks in advance!

Thanks! I'm sure it was low winged but then again it was around 8000 ft!!

I had G-FIZU Lockheed Electra Atlantic Airways on my SBS today, if you saw a low winged 4 engine prop, then it was most certainly an Electra.

Belated thanks (I'm clearly working too hard - haven't had time to log on since posting my initial message!). Would like to try to claim the Saudi Herc, but while the old eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, I'm pretty sure the aircraft I saw was low-wing, so G-FIZU it will have to be.
