On my main PC, when using the internet (currently via Google Chrome) the right hand final 1 cm (the up/own slider bar) of the 'window' appears on the left hand edge, rest of screen blank. Using the mouse I can push that 1 cm left to the screen edge, but not pull any further right and across the screen.
Have looked around 'settings' but cannot find any description that fits and so corrects the current problem.
Windows works fine on Word or Excel and no problems using Picasa either, all are normally full screen - just the internet. As I do not put photos through my lap-top, not having the PC working prevents my posting photos via Photobucket.
Has anyone encountered this problem and knows how to correct it?

Try the F11 key, that should put the area into full screen,it may work.but you may loose the internet bar,in which case go back again using the F11 key.its worth a try.

Thanks Calflier. In fact found a few minutes ago that just enough of the 'full screen' rectangle shows to be able to click-over. When I do, hey presto, the screen 'window' moves across to the correct position. Somehow I suspect that this is a temporary fix and next time on switch-on the problem will reoccur, so I'll try the F11 key route then - good to have a trick in reserve!
Thanks for your support. Brian.

try re booting in safe mode by holding down F8 key when starting, then chose the option restart at last good configuration from menu and re start. If all else fails
