If I want to buy an Olympian as a plaything, where can I get one and how much will it cost me?

Talk to Ensignbus. You will find them with an internet search.

I find Ensignbus a little expensive and very rarely advertise their prices. Thats one of my pet hates and unless I'm desperate to buy something I tend to shop where prices are firmly displayed. Same goes for car show rooms that you have to enter to see the screen price. Always makes me feel that your going to get cheated or pounced on by an over eager sales person. If you want to know the price you'll pay for an Olympian try the link below. A lot nearer to Liverpool too. To give you a better idea for a play around, Stevensons of Essex had two decent (1986) models of the same type pictured above for sale last week for £3.250+VAT each. Theres also e-bay, where you can get an end of life one for as little as £1.5k. www.staffordbuscentre.com/Service-Buses-For-Sale.htmlAlso a link to Ensignbus that Buspilot mentioned. www.ensignbus.com/

Just took my partner --the one with the broken wrist caused playing basket ball with my 17month old grandson (some folk never learn LOL)--for a birthday out in Geneva--NO CAMERA-it was left at home and there were loads of truly great trams and TROLLEY BUSES as a St Helenian they have a special place in my transport heart. SO expect the much promised tram shots and others soon--having seen the great shots on this thread and others I am being shamed into it. It is truly great to see so many different transport interests on the forum and nice to get feed back about forms of transport I only have a surface knowledge about.

If Liverpoolman1 is still thinking about buying an Olympian Stephensons now have just one left and have reduced the price to £2,995.
Possibly a question for MTLNorth but does anyone know if someone is keeping an eye on former Liverbus Olympian 'Andy' as Staffordshire have just sold it. I don't know who to but I hope this helps if anyone is still interested in him.

Thanks for the information ste-t. I'll let Father Christmas know. I have great faith in him, y'know. I'm sure he won't let me down.
