Quite a while since I last visited the site since they put up high boarding , but there seems to be a lot of progress made as you will see from the photo's mainly the centre coffer dam and actual steel work for the bridge span. CENTRE COFFER DAM THE 3 DAMS
WIDNES SIDE
The following photo's show the actual steel work for the main box section for the bridge . This is built and fed out and up over the river to form the main road support . All the steel work you see in the photo's (painted orange ) will be part of the bridge when fully assembled. If you have seen the video of the bridge being built you will see the main box section underneath the road. Appox height 18-20ft
