;)Thanks beemer for doing that ,i should mention that these photos are from 35mm film and beemer has cleaned them up as much as posible.I do have more but from Manchester in 1991 and will open up another thread when I get chance.Just for the record the Loganair F27 was being used by British Midland to do their London Heathrow flights and the Viscount was their scheduled Jersey service, the Short 360 was used by Manx Airlines, the B A F viscount was a Charter regular to Jersey ,also the JAT DC-9 was a Yugotours Charter to Pula Regards Robbo s.

Not that it matters much, but the actual date can only be Sunday 8th September 1985.
YU-AHN DC-9-32 f&t Pula on a regular fortnightly IT flight, JR2764/2765, the weekly JR Pula flight operated on a Saturday. G-APEY Viscount 806, f&t Jersey, regular weekly charter flight, VF7015/7016 G-RMSS Short SD.360 operated Manx Airlines flights BHD-IoM-LPL-IoM-LPL-IoM-BHD that day, a non-standard tasking to fit in an extra IoM rotation. G-IOMA F-27 of Loganair, had arrived Sat night from Blackpool, as regular BMA F-27 G-BMAE needed maintenance at EMA. It operated the first two BMA Heathrow rotations before positioning out to Manchester, Shorts 360 G-BMAJ operated the final LHR rotation in reverse. G-BMAE returned from EMA Sunday evening, ready for the first LHR rotation Monday am. At that time G-IOMA was not a LPL regular as Loganair had no LPL flights.
Another aircraft that morning was a Guppy F-BPPA/2 to collect Airbus wings, however at that stage Guppy flights were handled on the new South Apron concrete, not at the old terminal. Other scheduled flights that may have been seen that morning: EI-BEK SD.360 operated the morning Dublin Aer Lingus flight, while Manx's SD.360 G-ISLE operated LPL-IOM-BHD in the morning (returned early evening).
Great snap-shot of Liverpool shortly before moving out the old terminal. Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

It was a great hobby when we had balconys to spot from, sadly they have almost all gone, Manchester (I know they have got the expensive viewing park) The Queens building, at Heathrow and the Gatwick balcony.
Never mind

Never mind Bob I agree Bob. great photos and great memories. The balcony always had people up there watching the comings and goings, and I think all of us who remember it still miss it.
