Hi Folks, I have just seen a Christmas Tree decorated in the traditional way, at a house in Singleton Avenue, Birkenhead. I think that this must be one of the first in the area. Anybody else seen anything similar. Seasons Greetings.!!!!!!!!!. DOUGLAS12.

No but when I got married in August 1992 we had one at our wedding reception. The video people had to put the date on the footage so as people didn't get confused. Apparently the hotel were doing a Christmas promotion.

;D Lots of the alpine villages around here never take the Xmas lights down--they just switch them off until December.
ps The high mountains already have their first winter coating of snow and the skiers are already up there.
I prefer snow in those little glass balls that you shake.
We had 2 days last year down in the village but I bet we get more this year.--can't say I will ever like it but the locals call it white gold.(must just chuck another log on the fire.LOL)
