Nice day for spotting with the upper air conditions much better than yesterday.
I spent an hour this morning re aligning the mirrors on my scope and general fettleing as I wasnt happy with Fridays photos.
Aircraft today were sometimes very difficult to photograph/follow with a scope setup as most a/c were not trailing below FL350.
Getting an a/c in the frame and keeping it there under high magnification is challenging at the best of times but when there are no trails, its a 5 spanner job in the haynes manual of scope photography.
First up, one of my favorites, Egyptair SU-GDO MSR985 CAI-JFK passing @ FL340, smashing livery job, 5* !

Yet another B777, this time trusty stalwarts Turkish Airlines, famed for their fine looking aircraft
and onboard chefs sent one of their triple sevens through "Turkish One".
Yet again, this one, like all the others looked as if it was fresh out of the box.
I dont know how Turkish Technik @ IST keep them looking so good, but they do.

10 minutes later, and bringing up the rear of this afternoons "triple seven display" another Turkish b777 "on board chef special" that the techguys @ IST had waved their magic chamois leather over
Or is their secret hot towels finished off with a splash of lemon cologne

Now what have we got next up....
This afternoon a bit of a treat, no less than three Boeing 787-900 Dreamliners came through the zone.
I have never had the opportunity to photograph a b787-900 before today, but like buses 3 come along one behind the other.
How did they "shape up" ? Worth waiting for ? Lets find out..
