Copied from another aviation web site, posted by 'red eagle':
ROGER HARGREAVES - BRITANNIA AIRCRAFT PRESERVATION TRUST
It is indeed with much sadness that I have to record the passing of Roger Hargreaves Chairman of BAPT. His passing will leave a big gap in many peoples lives. Especially Sally his dear wife and Angel. We at 'Charlie Fox' will also miss him along with his enthusiasm and encouragement for the project that he laboured long and hard for. We shall endeavor to make his dream come true, impossible you may say. A word he would never have used. Our love and sympathy go out to dear Sally his wife and Angel.
Eric Tarrant Trustee

As I posted elsewhere, we continue the work which Roger set out to do. It's what he would want. We have made some good progress on Charlie Fox this year and little of her previous liveries remains to be stripped. We shortly expect to complete the stripping and to bring up the shine of the metal work before applying primer. As recently as last week, Roger advised that this should be traditional light green and so it will be. As Eric says, impossible is not a word we use and although some significant challenges lie ahead, they are there to be tackled. The spirit of Roger lives on.

I had the pleasure of working with Roger a couple of years ago. His passion for aviation was infectious and it was fascinating listening to his tales of working in the industry.
Rest in peace, Roger.
