Just out of interest I thought I'd show a picture of the Northern Lighthouse base at Oban, taken a few years ago when Bolkow 105 G-BUXS was the regular; THe helipad is at the southern end of Oban bay, with the town of Oban to the right of this photo. The sea area in the background has a rich aviation history, being a flying boat base during WW2. The Sunderlands and Catalinas were moored in this area, just a stonethrow from the town centre. Low islands to the left provided some protection from the open sea. THe helipad is easily accessible, once you find it! It seems so obvious when viewed from the town, but quickly vanishes as you get closer.
