G-CGKS was flying sorties all today so looks good to be a new resident. Looks no different to the other Tutors at all.

G-CGKS is our new resident at Woodvale....G-CGKI and G-CGKL visited Friday from Leuchars for a night stop departing before 11am(saturday morning).... G-BYWN and G-BYVH departed for RAF Wyton to pick up two more new aircraft but returned to Woodvale due to bad weather on route...Possibly trying again on Wednesday Morning... All 8 aircraft will be replaced in due course.... External different is exactly the same but for the extra GPS aerial on the top(rear) replacing the underneath aerial.... 23 new Grobs are being delivered for VT group...Woodvales old aircraft are going to Barkston heath taking over from the fireflys(Babcocks)....

Woodvale currently has 4 new Tutors.
KS KT KP KR
I dont think WVL is expecting any more for a couple of weeks but I belive will have a total of 8. No pilot conversions needed as I understand it.

Cheers for that egow. I'm sure I read somewhere that pilots needed to be instructed on these new a/c because the cockpit layout was different. They definitely don't look any different when they come over the house on finals for 03!

Probably full of the latest, state of the art, anti-collision devices. If so, lets hope they work.

You would certainly hope they had anti collision devices but they dont! The new additions are, as I belive...
Garmin GPWS, Digital Engine (&fuel) Instruments and HSI.
New checklists are out for these tutors, but no re-qualifying/rating is necesary.
