Nice photos again. Work is starting to speed up now it seems with an opening date of only about 18 months away. Last weekend the Trinity had moved so they are casting road deck sections. The chaos is due to start anytime of wrecking access to existing bridge so should be lots more photo opportunities then while waiting hours in Queues!!.
Talking to some workers last week thy reckon they will be on site for at least a year after bridge opens clearing up!!.

I was along the Central Expressway to-day while waiting for my cars MOT and passed some workers working on a new footbridge, I don't know what language they using but it was not English. Regards Beemer. Hallwood Park footbridge. Footbridge 1 by Beemer328i, on Flickr

We were discussing the New Bridge in my "local" last week. One of my friends reckons that a lot of local construction workers have been finished up
and a large number of Portuguese workers have been drafted in. May be here say until prooved otherwise.

Not wishing to talk politics but doesn't a certain minimum wage hike happen this month? Are overseas workers bound to this pay scale!!
Might just be my cynical mind at work here, maybe they have nothing to build in Portugal
