I bet we have some experts here that can solve this problem
I want to create a simple formula in Excel whereby if the answer is less than zero, the default is "0"
i.e in calculating a discount or refund, the amount to be refunded can never be a negative. Subtract A from B. If positive display the value. If negative the default is 0
I used to do this kind of stuff regularly, but I just cannot get it to work right now on my new brand spanking Excel package. I have looked at "help", but I find I have to be a real expert before I can be "helped." Assistance please.

Ron season greetings, I have an answer for your excel question, but I will have to forward it as it is an XLS document which I can`t copy and paste. If you send me your email address I will send it to you. I will add I didn`t answer this, my brother in law is the bright one with degrees coming out of his ears and teaches computers. If you cant open it let me know and I will get him to change it into English.
