Sorry, my error, you're absolutely correct: of course the A320s remained in MAN from the previous GB Airways operation....clearly am lacking in the brain dept today!

In terms of the Easyjet fleet, what extra seating capacity does the A320 offer over the 319, and supplementary question, is the range any greater for a given payload. Thanks in advance for your replies. RT I'm amazed that the airliner 'experts' did not immediately respond to this one. A.319 in EasyJet use = 156 A.320 in EasyJet use = 180 Now a question of my own. Apart from the length, is there any instant recognition feature (eg Easyjet B.737-700s had orange flap guides, the B.737-300 didn't). Usually the Airbus instant recognition feature is the pattern and number of emergency exits (A.319 one over wing, A.320 two together overwing, A.321 three spaced evenly along cabin) except that EasyJet and German Wings have high capacity A.319s with an extra overwing exit.

the only quick way i can tell which is which is the easyjet logo position in relation to the front cabin door and rear door.. in the 320 its more bang in the middle and leaves a large white patch of fuselage between the front door and logo end on the 319 the logo starts or ends almost level with the front door...cant see any other quick ways to spot em..

All the easyJet specific A320s are registered G-EZTA onwards so far.

I take it the fact ones longer than the other doesnt count ;D but yeah the easiest way seems to be the logo which is obviously ending right at the door on the A319 and with a much bigger gap on the A320, thanks for the Pic's Beemer

Thank you all.
So in snap identification situations when unable to compare size/length, or see the registration, there is a clear recognition feature based on three rows of windows in front and behind the name. Well done ezs942 for spotting and sharing that difference and Beemer for illustrating so clearly.

A bit of a late reply, EZY's A320s seat 180 as opposed to the EZY A319's which seat 156. The A319 struggles on flights over 3 and a Half hours.
I know there were difficulties with the A319 weight/payload on the Bristol to Corfu route this summer which resulted in flights having to leave passengers/or luggage behind, particularly at Corfu in the heat of summer!

New Lanzarote flights
Just for info, of 2 outbound flights and 1 inbound over the last few days, there were loadings of 99%, 75% and 66% ish on the flights a colleague and I took.
The hotel that I stayed in was almost exclusively just for customers of a major travel agency. Many of them now know the advantages of booking direct and through EZY (or RYR) utilising LPL for future trips! Incidentally, one couple had to pay £100 extra for having additional luggage, so its not just the Locos who do this.
