Just took delivery of a product called Lens2scope, manufactured by Kenko (they did manufacture either a staight through or angled view product). It allows you to use your camera's detachable lens as a telescope, whether the lens is a prime or zoom. Have known about such a product for some time, Nikon use to make one for their own lenses but stopped some years ago, anyway, did a google search last week and it would appear this product has been superceded by a product called Kenko miltol www.kenkoglobal.com/optics/miltol/miltol_accessory/miltol_scope_eyepiece_kit_for_nikon_canon_t_mount_lens.html but the lens2scope is still out there from suppliers. Being in the market for a smaller set of bins and haveing several lenses I ordered one from www.cameracentreuk.com/ albeit via the add on Ebay, think they only had one which was £59 but an Ebay search today for lens2scope pulls up a Canadian company selling them for around £41 including postage but probably import charges may/would apply, other Ebay adds are anything from £66 up to £180 for the same product. Optical quality is very good, a 18-55mm gives you 1.8x-5.5x and a 55-300mm zoom lens would give you a 5x-30x scope, set the lens to manual focus to use, well worth a look if you in the market for some optics.
