In dim and distant past I just about recall being taken to see the transporter bridge. Amazing to think when you compare traffic volumes now and then, that we now need an even bigger bridge. How many other cities will be able to boast two bridges and two tunnels. (Liberty taken putting widnes into Liverpool!)
